Behind the Scenes: Fjällräven 'Voice of Nature' Video

In our latest brand film for Fjällräven, "Voice of Nature," we set out to capture the profound connection between nature and self-discovery. Through breathtaking visuals and an introspective narrative, we explored the universal yearning to escape the confines of the modern world and rediscover the simplicity of life. As we ventured into the wilderness, every element—down to the gear we wore and used—played a vital role in bringing this story to life.  

Hatfield Hat - 195 Sand Stone

This classic wide-brimmed hat brought a touch of timeless adventure to the film. Perfect for sun protection, the Hatfield Hat became our go-to accessory for trekking through the landscapes. Its sturdy yet breathable material allowed us to stay cool under the sun while capturing those sweeping outdoor shots.

Abisko Lite Trekking Jacket (Dark Grey/Black)

In the rugged outdoor settings, the Abisko Lite Trekking Jacket was essential. Lightweight yet durable, it protected us from the elements without compromising on mobility. The sleek design combined practicality with style, making it ideal for the adventure-driven narrative of our film.

Abisko Wool Logo SS (Dawn Blue)

This wool-blend t-shirt offered both breathability and comfort as we filmed in varied terrain. With its naturally moisture-wicking properties, the Abisko Wool Logo SS kept us cool, allowing us to focus on the journey and the story we were telling.

Ovik Travel Shirt LS (Chalk White)

When it came to staying cool and comfortable in the hot weather during our “Voice of Nature” shoot, the Ovik Travel Shirt LS was the perfect choice. Made from a blend of hemp and recycled polyester, this shirt is designed for effortless style and functionality. The fabric’s unique, uneven texture allowed for excellent air circulation, keeping us cool even during the sunniest parts of the day. Its loose, relaxed fit made it an ideal choice for long hours of filming, allowing air to flow freely and preventing the shirt from clinging to the skin—a much-needed feature for shooting in warmer climates.

From the relaxed, breathable fit to the eco-friendly materials, the Ovik Travel Shirt LS became a staple in our wardrobe for the shoot. It embodies the balance of comfort and sophistication that Fjällräven is known for—making it a perfect piece for both outdoor adventures and everyday wear.

Kanken Weekender (Frost Green)

The Kanken Weekender is the perfect blend of functionality and iconic style, making it our go-to bag for the “Voice of Nature” shoot. With its 30L capacity, this new addition to the Kånken family offered plenty of space to pack all the essentials for our weekend of filming. Inspired by the classic duffel bag, the Weekender can be carried in three different ways: as a hold-all, a crossbody, or a backpack by utilizing its padded shoulder straps. This versatility was key for our team, whether we were hiking between shoot locations or simply commuting in the city.

True to Kånken’s iconic design, the Weekender includes the classic zippered front pocket with an interior key hook, perfect for keeping smaller items organized. The bag’s padded back panel and adjustable shoulder straps ensured comfort, even when fully loaded for our shoot!!
