Exploring Tokyo Day 1: A Day of Design and Discovery

Tokyo is a city that beautifully balances tradition with modernity, and our recent trip allowed us to immerse ourselves in its unique charm.

On this particular day, we explored two exceptional stores that capture the essence of Tokyo's vibrant lifestyle scene.

Our first stop was CIBONE, a lifestyle store nestled in Omotesando. This haven of design elegance offers a curated selection of homeware, clothing, fashion accessories, and furniture.

We were particularly drawn to a mood light from the Spanish brand SANTA & COLE, which features a striking bent wooden structure enveloping a central bulb.

This piece, along with other thoughtfully selected items, exemplifies CIBONE’s commitment to sophisticated design and quality.

Next, we ventured to the MOMA Design Store, located on the top floor of the same building. As avid visitors of the MOMA Museum in New York, we were excited to experience this branch. While we didn’t find anything to purchase this time, we were impressed by the store’s meticulous curation and organization. It’s always a pleasure to find familiar names and experiences in Tokyo that remind us of home.

With the weather warming up, our journey continued to The Roastery by Nozy Coffee in Omotesando—a perfect stop to recharge. We’re excited to share more from our Tokyo adventure, so stay tuned for Part 2 in our vlog series.
