  Designed by Clare Brass, CSA. Clare Brass was born in London in 1962 and studied at the Middlesex Polytechnic. She lives and works in Milan where she collaborated with Andrea Branzi before setting up her own studio, Zoo design. She is one of the founders of the Doc group. The Alessi Research Centre (CSA) was set up in 1990 for two purposes: to draw up theoretical papers on topics associated with objects (to be published as books), and to coordinate work with young designers.
