The base GA2100 model is a thinner G-SHOCK model that inherits the octagonal shape of the first DW5000C model. The flat face and simple bar indices create a simple yet solid impression. The coloring is a matte black that goes with any fashion. The glittering metallic bar indices enhance the texture.

Timekeeping functions

  • World time across 31 time zones, covering 48 cities plus UTC.
  • Stopwatch with 1/100-second measurement for the first 60 minutes and 1-second measurement thereafter, up to 24 hours.
  • 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms and an hourly time signal.
  • Double LED illumination lights the face and digital display, with selectable 1.5- or 3-second duration and afterglow.
  • Hand-shift function clears the digital display; full auto-calendar through 2099.
