Exploring Tokyo Day 2: A Day of Inspiration

BrandsWalk Creative |
Tokyo never ceases to inspire with its rich blend of culture, design, and culinary delights. Our latest adventure took us through some of the city’s most captivating spots, each offering a unique experience that reflects the essence of Japanese innovation and lifestyle.

Our journey began at the 21_21 Design Sight Museum, a space designed by the iconic Japanese architect Tadao Ando and fashion legend Issey Miyake.

The museum's current exhibition delved into the future of design, exploring concepts like biomimicry and cutting-edge prosthetic technology. It was a thought-provoking experience that brought back memories of our own time in design school.

Next, we headed to Ginza Kagari in Roppongi, one of our favorite spots for a quick and satisfying lunch. Although it's technically called hot soba, this dish features a rich chicken soup base with fresh vegetable toppings that always hits the spot

Our exploration continued to Daikanyama T-Site, where we once again marveled at the Tsutaya bookstore’s impeccable layout and organization. Although the café and dining area were too crowded for a visit this time, the bookstore itself remains a favorite stop.

While in the area, we visited KINTO, a beloved tableware brand known for its beautifully designed coffee accessories and lifestyle products.

We then made our way to CoverChord, a lifestyle and fashion store that stands out for its carefully curated selection of European and Japanese goods.

As the day came to a close, we enjoyed a peaceful walk by Tokyo Tower, reflecting on the day's rich experiences. We hope you enjoyed following along with our journey.
