When Per Lütken designed the Provence bowl in 1955, he created a Danish classic. The bowl is made of mouth-blown glass and shaped by hand. This bowl is a bit of everyday luxury and can be used as a fruit bowl, for salads or for pure decoration. Each Provence bowl is unique and blown without the use of a mold. It is the glassblower's ability to carefully control the glass mass and the steam from the floor as this forms the glass bowl, hereby creating the finished product. Because of this manufacturing process, the bowls vary in shape and size and is in themselves a complete unique experience. A great gift idea that can be handed down through the generations.
