This is a really great product overall. I used it both on my lips and cheeks multiple times, and I found it brought some nice color to both. It isn't quite sheer but also not very opaque, but I would definitely describe it as buildable. On the lips, it adds a nice shine and slightly "wet" look without being sticky or heavy-feeling, which was a huge plus to me.
I used the shade Mulberry, which looked great on my lips and cheeks. However, it seems that Mulberry is the darkest shade, and the only one that pulls more purple, so I worry how the other colors would look on darker skin tones.
I personally prefer using it as a cheek tint rather than on my lips, since as previously mentioned, the fact that it's buildable means I can use it both for a more "glam" look but also can sheer it out for a more everyday look to add color back into my complexion. It blended well on both bare skin and over foundation. On my lips, I preferred to use it more like a "base" for heavier lip products, since it was lightweight and hydrating.
The formula is very watery, which caught me off guard. I know many other types of tint makeup are also quite thin and liquid-y, but in this case, I felt like it made it difficult to control the product as it came out of applicator; It felt a little messy to use at times, and like I'd always be squeezing out more than I wanted.
Additionally, I really couldn't stand the taste. I would expect a lip product to taste pleasant, or at least not like anything at all, but this really tasted super chemical-y to me. Like I said, it's kind of hard to control how much product you're getting, and on one occasion, I accidentally squeezed so much it got into my mouth, and it tasted absolutely horrible. I had to rinse my mouth out multiple times to get the taste out. I understand that you're not supposed to be getting your makeup in your mouth, but for a lip product, you would think the taste should at least be tolerable.
Overall, I really enjoy this product and can see me throwing it in my purse for quick everyday use and a pop of color. Considering the great price along with it's decent quality, I'm so glad this product exists. As the popularity of tints and dual lip/cheek products increases, this is genuinely a competitive option worth considering. The price is competitive considering it's quality is comparable to more "mainstream" Asian beauty brands as well, which seem to be more dominant in the tint and lip/cheek world.
